Professor Sun Lihua was born in 1964, is a member of the Han nationality, and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor. She graduated from East China Normal University in 1986with a baccalaureate degree in Education. In 1988, she graduated from East China Normal University’s Graduate Class in School Management, and obtained an MA in Literature from Shandong UniversityIn 2004. Professor Sun was on the staff of the Department of Social Sciences, Shandong University of Technology from 1988 to 2000.
In 2000, with the merger of universities taking place, she became a member of the staff of the School of Literature and Journalism (now the School of Literature) of Shandong University.
Professor Sun offers more than ten different courses at the School of Literature, including:
· Pedagogy
· Psychology
· Ideological and Moral Cultivation
· Modern Chinese Language and Science/Technology Writing
· Traditional Literature Cultivation
· Chinese Writing Practice
Professor Sun has published many research papers in journals such as Chinese University Teaching. She has participated in authoring and editing/compiling of many academic publications and textbooks, including Research and Instruction in Psychological Health. In addition, she has also participated in many school-level and provincial-level teaching and research projects. The research and teaching projects in which she has participated and to which she has contributed, such as “The Three Aspects of Education”, have received many school- or department-level, or university-level, or provincial Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 prizes; the “Chinese Traditional Literature Cultivation”elite on-line resource-sharing course, in whose taping she has taken part, has won aLevel-2 National Prize. In addition to the above, Professor Sun also has experience in teaching abroad – from 2004 to 2006, she taught in Korea as an exchange professor for two years.
