Professor Ji Fahan is a Dissertation Advisor for Ph.D students and a Thesis Advisor for MA students. He mentors one Ph.D students, and three MA students per year.
Professor Ji’s expertise and research orientations are in the fields of: The History of the Chinese Language; The History of Ancient Chinese Culture; The Study of Names and Appellations of Historical Personages in Ancient and Traditional Times; The Semantic and Etymological Study of Things and Objects of the Past; The Study of Poetic Forms and Rules; and the Study of Lexicography and Compiling and Editing Dictionaries/Glossaries.
