Huang Lizhen serves asLecturer in the School of Literature at Shandong University, and holds a Ph.D in Literature. She is primarily engaged in research in the fields of Modern Chinese Literature, and. She has published many papers and articles in professional journals such as Studies of the Novels of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Social Sciences in Shandong and The Academic Journal of Shandong University. Dr. Huang has participated in the authoring and editing of many academic monographs, and has supervised, or participated in, many research projects sponsored by the National Foundation for the Social Sciences or by the Social SciencesFoundation at the provincial level. Courses that she has taught in the School of Literature in recent years include: “History of Chinese Literature”, “A Study of Literature in Translation in Modern China”, and “A Guided Reading of ADream of the Red Mansion”.
