Professor Li Fei was born in 1981, and hails from Zhuchengxian, Shandong Province. He graduated from Beijing University in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Literature and joined the faculty of Shandong University in the same year. He is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Literature, and is a Thesis Advisor for MA students. Professor Li is primarily engaged in teaching and research work in the area of the History of Chinese Literary Criticism. He has published a monograph, as well as many papers and articles in journals such as the Academic Journal of Beijing University, the Academic Journal of Fudan University, and Studies in Chinese Literature and History. He has supervised many research projects, including projects sponsored by the National Foundation for the Social Sciences, as well as projects sponsored and funded at the provincial and ministry (e.g., Ministry of Education) levels.
